I got my first Real Estate License in Florida in 1990. I have been in Hawaii since 1999. I love helping folks buy and sell real estate. I meet the greatest people. I have had the pleasure of representing buyers and seller from all over the world. With technology our world has become much smaller. Two Islands The state of Hawaii is made up of several islands. The most popular island is Oahu where Waikiki Beach is located and also our Military Bases. Very metropolitan, for being in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Because so many people want to live on Oahu, there is not as much land mass available, so home lots are small and crowded. Here you can find traffic congestion a plenty along with wonderful shopping and restaurants and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Ths island of Hawaii is geographically the largest island, but not at all like Oahu. Mostly built of lava, this it still pretty much "country". We do not have the traffic like Oahu, but we still have shopping and restaurants. Hawaii is much quieter and slower moving than Oahu. Because of its size, the home lots are much larger. Where the average home on Oahu has 5000 sq. ft, the average home on Hawaii is over an acre. We have lots of coffee farms and macadamia nut farms. I find I like both islands for different reasons, this is why I work with buyers and sellers on both islands.
